ChakraCore is the core part of the Chakra Javascript engine that powers Microsoft Edge: eggbertx: ckb-cli-bin: 0.40.0-1: 0. AUR packages are user produced content. That means that Microsoft Edge is displayed in “full screen” or “maximized” mode and covers the entire area of the screen.- SIDEBAR -The fullscreen mode of Microsoft Edge's window is not to be confused with Microsoft Edge fullscreen mode on itself (where the tabs and menu icons disappear to make more display space available for the actual content of the window). Starting with build 83.0.478.37, users can now play a surfing-themed game in the new Microsoft Edge when they’re offline or by navigating to edge://surf. The game, which has been available for Insiders since late February, is now available for everyone to play in the latest Stable channel release. Download the new Microsoft Edge here to.
As recently as today I had a 'crack' at installing Manjaro Architect. Since the 90s, I have become familiar with quite a few distros (RH then Fedora) along with Mint etc. (when one had to build the kernel and then run a thing known as 'lilo') It was Mint that I intended to replace because of an increase in undocumented “features” that make touch typing erratic and depending upon the location of the cursor anything could be either edited or deleted.
The fresh Manjaro system failed to boot with a message (from console) that there was no /sbin/init. In fact there was but it was pointing to a file that I have never seen previously. Apparently the issue is that it is not possible to have separate file systems despite existence of a custom partitioning option (that reports mounting correctly). Everything is meant to be under “/”. Putting /usr or /var or /tmp or /home on its own file system is inviting trouble.
It seems that I will have to reinstall W10 (that I use when mathematical equations developed in LibraOffice cannot be read by a user running MSOffice).
I have yet to encounter an install guide (or video) that does not select “std partitioning”. A criticism as to not wishing to use the standard partitioning scheme is beside the point for a distro that boasts 'flexibility'. Despite reviews from many the custom install process, at least, is amateurish (at best). The unless one installs a “spin” with a ubuntu-style point 'n click (no customising) it seems that one can anticipate issues. We'll see if a “real” custom install is offered in a year or so.
